ImpureThe rain pattered gently against the windows, creating a mismatched pattern of beats. Outside the wind was chill and a small layer of snow blanketed the earth in silene. But even the frigid temperatures outside could not compete with the ice cold feeling in my heart. It was if liquid ice burned through my veins and was freezing my heart, beat by beat. The rain outside soon turned into small flurries of snow, falling from they grey sky. I rolled up my sleeve and cracked open the window, letting the snow rain upon my naked arm.
